Baker favorite
Richer yolks and more fat than a hen egg. Ask any baker who has made a custard with them.
Straight-run barnyard mix from our roosters. Roughly an 80% hatch rate in our own incubator.
Picked at dawn
Cut the morning you buy it. Boil the water before you shuck it and you will taste the difference.
Brandywine, Cherokee Purple, and Green Zebra. Ugly on the counter, unbeatable on a sandwich.
A loose mix of lettuces, arugula and mizuna, washed once and spun dry.
Twenty weeks of produce, eggs and flowers, one box a week from June through October. It works out cheaper than buying it piece by piece and it keeps us planting.

Music and German Extra Hardy, cured in the barn loft for three weeks. Hangs in a kitchen all winter.
Best seller
Whatever is at its peak that morning — dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos and a little Queen Anne’s lace for movement.
Including the moody red ProCut varieties that nobody expects a sunflower to be.
Subscription
Reserve a bunch a week from August through the first frost. Pick it up at the stand each week.
Buckets of stems for a DIY afternoon, or we arrange the whole thing. Tell us your colors and your date.
Our hives
Unfiltered and unheated from the hives at the edge of the north pasture. It will crystallize — that is the point.
Comb and all, exactly as the bees built it. Put it on a cheese board and watch it disappear.
Boiled down in March from the sugar maples along the road. About 40 gallons of sap in every one of these.
Gail's grandmother's recipe, which calls for more turmeric than seems reasonable and is correct anyway.
Seconds and splits from the tomato rows, roasted with garlic and basil and put up the same day.
Made with our own honey. The bar the farm hands actually use after a day in the dirt.
From Sept 20
Sugar pies, Cinderellas and one enormous field of Howdens. Wagon rides out to the patch on weekends.
Six colors, grown on from cuttings in the spring. They come back if you get them in the ground early.
Made in the barn the first weekend of December, with berries cut from the hedgerow.

A weekly box of whatever is best that week — produce, a dozen eggs, and a bunch of flowers from June through October.
Bulk tomatoes for canning, a hundred ears of corn for a party, or forty stems in one color for a wedding — ask. We can usually pick to order with a week's notice.
